A Brave Journey with DIPG: In 2018, at the age of 12, Ezekiel's life took an unexpected turn when he was diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG). Despite facing unimaginable challenges, Ezekiel's spirit remained resilient, and his love for books continued to shine brightly. Sadly, he peacefully passed away that year, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him.
The Birth of Read4Eze: Out of this journey emerged Read4Eze, a tribute to Ezekiel's memory and an embodiment of his dream. The organization stands as a testament to his belief that everyone should have access to the joy and education found in books.
Educator partnership: Collaborating with teachers, both retired and active, to lead tailored literacy programs for adults.
Community Book Drives: Organizing book drives to collect and distribute books to various locations, such as children's cancer hospitals, foster homes, nursing homes, etc
Little Library Initiative: Establishing Little Libraries to provide easy access to books.
